Sean McCoy shares Warrens socialist/communist world view

It's almost unfair to do battle of wits with the unarmed.  Longmont City Councilmember Sean McCoy's version of Tweeting, which is one electoral grave shoveling after another, continues on it's bizarre journey into uncharted territory.  And this time he says to "put that in your blog and smoke it".  Here's his latest:

For those that haven't heard about it, some Senate hopeful named Elizabeth Warren went on a rant that the Marxist/Socialist/Communist wing of the Democratic Party are all a twitter about.  If you consider yourself "moderate" and agree with what she said, you need to check your premises.  If you're a business owner, she's talking about taking from you, and you are an evil robber baron.  Again, this is boilerplate class warfare and Marxist/Socialist/Communist claptrap - and Sean McCoy supports it wholeheartedly:

There is nobody in this country who got rich on his own. Nobody. You built a factory out there — good for you.

But I want to be clear. You moved your goods to market on the roads the rest of us paid for. You hired workers the rest of us paid to educate. You were safe in your factory because of police forces and fire forces that the rest of us paid for. You didn’t have to worry that marauding bands would come and seize everything at your factory. 

Now look. You built a factory and it turned into something terrific or a great idea — God bless! Keep a big hunk of it. But part of the underlying social contract is you take a hunk of that and pay forward for the next kid who comes along.

Every once in a while these people expose themselves for what they are.  I'm loving it when people like Sean McCoy not only embrace this and expose their radical ideology, but parade it around.  Once again, it's solid gold!

I have a question for the unionized, public employee currently representing Ward 3:  What have you ever produced?  Don't say students, because if you do in school 1/5th of what you do on council, you are doing them a great disservice.  You have nothing to crow about when it comes to factories and businesses, you know, the very thing that pays the taxes to keep you employed?  Who built the roads to your home and schools?  Usually those evil developers you rip on constantly at city council.  Oh, you thought CDOT built all of those?

I ask citizens how they like being told by elected officials what you can keep (define a "chunk") of your hard earned money.  Sean McCoy apparently has some number in mind, will he say what it is?  Who are these "marauding bands", those coming for your money to continually feed the leeches that are Sean McCoy's supporters?  He's very big with the "takers" of society, and guess what they want to "take"?  What you have!

But I couldn't leave the "blog and smoke it" comment alone.  There was a rumor going around a few months ago that was left alone.  Supposedly Sean McCoy was seen coming in and out of a medical marijuana clinic between where he teaches and where he lives.  This was about the same time as council was voting on medical marijuana dispensaries, and Sean McCoy could always be counted on as a sympathetic vote for them.  At the very least there may have been a conflict of interest.

You can use your imagination for the worst case scenarios - lets just say they might involve high school, pot, students, extortion for votes - the list is endless.  But this is all second hand and hearsay, although it would explain much about his speaking style at council, and that isn't nerves.  It would also explain his paranoia asking that police be stationed at council meetings after a neighboring mayor called Sean McCoy out.  Did he threaten Sean McCoy?  No, as a matter of fact Sean McCoy threatened this mayor and town board!

Should those MMJ rumors be believed?  Not unless you do your own research and find out for yourself.  Regardless, the apparent Marxist views of Sean McCoy should be yet another reason to...
