The latest flap with Longmont City Council member Sean McCoy and the Exec. Board voting at the recent Colorado Municipal League conference is nothing new to local political observers. McCoy lost control of decorum and the civic process from the day he took office in late 2007--and the fits just keep on coming.

So now people writing in to the Times-Call who support Sean McCoy are just going to spread flat out fabrications about me (Chris Rodriguez). I tried to email the TC about this lie, but was "off the grid" and they may not have gotten it in time - darn those vacations!

McCoy joins anti-American protest on Main St
One brave soul walked through the rabble on Main Street at the Occupy Longmont with an American flag and put it on YouTube. He said he was disappointed that no one waved or honked at him or the flag, I say he was lucky no one spat on it and threw it to the ground.

I figured it was just a matter of time before Longmont City Councilmember Sean McCoy couldn't hold it in any longer. The hate? No, he regularly displays that towards a wide swath of Longmont. Now he's showing his more "racial" side, and is tweeting about his intolerance.

McCoy hacks it up at candidate forum
In a chance to show voters of Longmont that he's at least somewhat bright and not a egotistical buffoon, Longmont councilmember Sean McCoy failed in both areas at the recent candidate forum at Silver Creek High School. This is MUST SEE TV when it gets replayed on Longmont Channel 8.
